Remembrance with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Lyons United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Rose Sparks officiating.  Burial will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

Linda S. Laughlin, 74, of Lyons, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born October 3, 1939 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Ivan and Betty (Lawyer) Brown.

She was retired from the United States Postal Service.  She was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church and Newberry Eastern Star.

She is survived by: three daughters, Stacey (Rob) Anderson of Casa Grande, Arizona, Susan Laughlin of Vincennes, Indiana, and Sarah (Joel) Herendeen of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Robert Brown of San Diego, California, two sisters, Sharron Thompson of Rome, New York, and Cheryl Robertson of Linton, Indiana; five grandchildren, Dustin and Will Hellums, and Jalen, Jaden and Jaren Pfoff; two step-grandchildren, Hailey and Hayden Herendeen; and two great-grandchildren, Jocelyn and Gia Hellums.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert L. Laughlin.
